I recruit HR professionals at all levels across all industries.
Changing companies is such an important event it’s important to work closely with a recruitment professional you trust. Be prepared to build a long-term relationship. A good recruiter will listen, be consultative and focus on providing the very best match for you and also support you through the interview process. It’s important to be open and honest regards your experience, strengths, weaknesses and most importantly career goals and motivation. All of these points are unique to you. Before deciding if a company and job fits to you, I recommend taking the opportunity to meet them and the hiring managers. Learn first-hand about their business your potential fit within their team. Be prepared to ask lots of good questions that will provide the essential information you need before deciding to join a new company. Finally take advantage of any opportunity to meet your recruiter prior to and during an interview process. Preparation and practice is the key to success.
