As an Associate Recruitment consultant I source the best candidates for the Accounting and Finance team in our Tokyo office.
Who forgets to prepare, prepares to be forgotten. This advice applies to both those looking for new challenges and their supporting recruitment consultants. Make sure you do your research in order to be in control of your own professional development. It will make you come across as more professional and confident towards others as well. If you are fully prepared you will be able to wing it if something unexpected happens.
I was born in Antwerp, Belgium, and obtained my Bachelor of Law from the Catholic University of Leuven.
In order to get out of my comfort zone, I set out to get my Master's of International Cooperation Policy from Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University in Beppu, Japan. During my Masters degree I also studied Japanese before joining the Morgan McKinley office in Tokyo.
