I am an Associate Consultant specialized in finance and accounting recruitment. I work to support my team in finding the best candidates, reaching out to mid-career bilinguals and helping them with their next career move.
Always have a goal to work towards and be willing to push yourself outside of your comfort zone because it will be worth it. If things do not go right the first time, try not to be discouraged. Instead, take what you have learned from this experience and use it to propel you forward on your career path. Remember, if you do not try, you have already lost!
I was born and raised in the US and started working in Japan this year. Prior to moving here for work, I first came to Japan in 2014 through the Kakehashi Project, and studied abroad at Sophia University.
After returning to the US from my study abroad, I graduated from Mount Holyoke College with a BA in East Asian Studies and a minor in Japanese. Focusing on languages, I also studied Korean and Chinese, including a summer study abroad at Peking University.
Outside of work, I keep active through dance and explore the area for new food and experiences. I've been golfing since childhood and hope to one day play on a course here in Japan.
