Morgan McKinley will be holding a wine tasting and networking event for managers within Risk, Compliance and Audit on the 14th March.
It should come as no real surprise that Risk, Compliance and Audit have seen some of the biggest structural changes over the last few years in the wake of the Financial Crisis. Banks in Japan have largely survived the attention of regulators - aside from a few sanctions and business improvement orders - and have worked hard to develop their control governance and 3 lines of defense.
However it is fair to say that the regulations of today only go some way to mitigate the risks of tomorrow. And whilst the regulatory focus seems to be diminishing somewhat, the risks facing financial services are only increasing. With the advent of new technologies, products (such as crypto-currencies), as well as new ways of doing business, leaders and managers within Risk, Compliance and Audit will need to stay on their toes to ensure they remain abreast of emerging risks. All this against the backdrop of increased cost pressures and the drive to be more efficient only adds to the challenges faced.
It is with this in mind that Morgan McKinley will be holding a wine tasting and networking event for managers within Risk, Compliance and Audit on the 14th March. The event will be held in partnership with Tokyo Wine Events, giving guests the opportunity to sample a wide variety wines, whilst engaging with their peers across the industry.
