Job Description
Big 4 Consultancy want Japanese Partner level financial services consultants to join their Japanese Practice. Great opportunity to take leadership on a new department, excellent salary & benefits package on offer
Roles/Responsibilities
- Define consistent Operational Risk assurance/monitoring methodologies.
- To effectively identify, assess, control, and monitor operational risks/controls in each of the established Key Risk Areas (KRAs) across the organisation
- Manage the cyclical Operational Risk assurance/monitoring/testing program thereby providing support, oversight and challenge business functions
- Identify and assess impacts of both organization-wide emerging operational risk trends and controls weaknesses
- Business Development strategy with foreign / local financial institutions
- New internal department organization
Required skill
- 10 years + experience in an audit, risk or control environment, preferably within a financial services organisation or a Big 4 accountancy practice
- Strong technical financial services knowledge to include audit planning, frameworks & methodology
- Native Japanese and fluent English (Weekly conversation with foreign entities)
Preferred skill
- Strategic thinking & strong commercial acumen
- Managing Change - Ability to plan and implement a structured approach to managing the complexities of change processes
