Project Manager

Job Description

Exciting opportunity to manage strategic projects such as product launches, channel expansion, or operational improvement to successful closure

Roles/Responsibilities　

• Lead cross-functional project teams to deliver business critical projects (e.g. product launches, operations improvements)
• Drive project priorities/business requirements decisions to manage project scope, budget, resources, and delivery risks
• Ensure quality of deliverables (project plan, schedule, budget control sheets, reports, etc.) and compliance with policies
• Build & maintain working relationships with IT and business stakeholders
• Chair project steering committees and report regularly to IS and business management stakeholders and teams

Required skill

• 3 or more years in the insurance industry (Life preferred)
• 3 or more years experience managing business critical projects (experience with software development life cycle preferred)
• Past experience specifically managing product launches and other strategic projects in life insurance company preferred

Preferred skill

• Possesses good leadership, diplomatic and motivational skills to lead cross-functional teams
• Strong planning and organization skills with the ability to adapt to changes
• Bilingual in English (Fluent/Business-level) and Japanese (Fluent/Business Level)
• Understanding of insurance products and insurance operations preferred
