Junior Paralegal Associate

Job Description

Our client, a global financial institution with extensive presence in Japan is looking for a bi-lingual Paralegal specialist to support its Legal Counsel Office in Tokyo

Roles/Responsibilities　

• Negotiate and draft contracts and other agreements
• Acting as a liaison between clients and the Legal Counsel
• Coordination between Tokyo office and other global Offices
• Review of laws and regulations that govern different products and contracts offered by the firm
• Localizations of legal documents and policies

Required skills

• Past experience as a paralegal or legal counsel support
• Native Japanese with Fluent English skills is a must
• Legal knowledge and/or documentation drafting experience

Preferred skills　

• Excellent English ability
• Strong legal documentation drafting experience
• Past experience in a financial services firm
