Job Description

A major pharmaceutical company ranked top 10 by Fortune; also growing in Japan.

An excellent opportunity at a mid-sized firm where your contribution will make a difference. You will be expected to partner with the business in deciding how the company should move forward.

Under the Japan CFO, you will be responsible for all FP&A activities for the Japan entity, such as:
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Submitting monthly management reports
- Working closely with accounting team to control the actuals, and providing budget vs actual variance analysis
- Partnering with sales, marketing etc to drive the business forward by providing financial advice
- Inventory control
- Liaising with external auditors/tax firms
 

Required skills
- Must have at least 2 – 3 years of FP&A (financial planning & analysis) experience, preferably in a non-Japanese company
- Must have fluency in Japanese (reading/writing/speaking/listening)
- English need not be fluent but must be willing to learn

Preferred skills　
- Experience in the healthcare industry is preferred but not mandatory
- USCPA or MBA would be preferred but not mandatory
