ABBREVIATED JOB DESCRIPTION
Monthly/annual closing for a complex business involving many global subsidiaries. A truly international team with members of many nationalities. Especially welcome are accountants from Japanese corporations with many group companies and subsidiaries who want to take their career to the next level in a foreign company.

Roles/Responsibilities
Reporting to the Accounting Manager, you will:

• Month-end and year-end close and related duties
• Tax calculations, tax reports and other related duties
• Provide necessary support for management reports, statutory reports, consolidation reports
• Daily accounting duties such as checking AP journal for manager's approval etc.
• SAP 

Required skills
3-5 years of hands-on accounting experience (accountant level), up to 10 years (senior accountant level)
Nissho book-keeping level 2 or above
In-house experience strongly preferred (as opposed to accounting firms or professional audit firms)
Intermediate or above level of English (at least able to communicate in email and phone calls. No presentations or phone conferences will be required at this point, although for those capable there are possibilities)
Must be fluent Japanese

Preferred skill

• Experience in tax is a plus (willingness to learn is a must)
