FP&A Manager <American cosmetics company, managing 1>

Job Description

Global cosmetics company with a friendly corporate culture. Looking for a motivated FP&A Manager with good numerical capabilities.

Roles/Responsibilities　
- Preparation of mid-term management plans, annual budgets, and quarterly forecasts
- Doing monthly comparative analyses of budgets of diverse projects vs. actual, aligning with the HQ in the USA
- Ensure timely reporting to US, including sales reports, cost reports by product line and channel)
- Analysis of CAPEX; work with Controller and US headquarters to ensure efficiency of investments
- Managing a small team and reporting to the Japan Controller
- Various projects related to company management

Required skills　
- 5+ years of management accounting experience or Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
- Native-level Japanese, and able to communicate in English by mail
- Proven problem solving experience
- Strong Excel skills

Preferred skills
- Leadership experience is preferred but not mandatory
- Knowledge of USCPA/CMA is a plus
- Nissho Bookkeeping Level 2 will be appreciated
- Working capabilities with other Office applications (PowerPoint, Word)
