Front End Software (Web) Developer

Job Description

Our client, a financial firm, is looking for a bilingual front end developer interested in working overseas at first to work on a web application

Roles/Responsibilities　
- Participating to the development of a web based global fund management platform
- Working with the business team to gather requirements
- Helping shape the experience for clients and users of the system
- Conducting research on emerging technologies

Required skill　
- Proficiency in Object-oriented web programming languages (e.g. C#, Java, Ruby, Python)
- At least 2 years hands-on experience in web development (e.g. HTML/CSS, JavaScript RIA [rich Internet application] development)
- Experience of complete software development cycle (Agile methodology) from initial specifications to maintenance and support

Preferred skill　
- Model View Controller pattern (e.g. ASP.NET MVC, Ruby on Rails)
- jQuery (including plugin creation)
- Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) or web service development

Personal Attributes　
- Passionate about development
- Open to work overseas for a long period
