Head of Infrastructure

Job Description

Our client is looking to hire a hands-on infrastructure manger who will also look after other countries across Asia

Roles/Responsibilities　

• Support of IT infrastructure through a hands-on approach and handle documentation
• Manage regional technicians and work with global team
• Responsible for Server hardware, operating system, network, internet and voice technology deployment
• Business requirements gathering, high level project planning and management reporting
• Contribute to long range planning and budget discussions within a global team
• Management of vendor infrastructure services and support contracts
• Construct and support regular Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity testing

Required skill　

• Strong knowledge of both Linux and Windows and overall infrastructure (network, storage…)
• Expertise in IT risk, IT security and BCP
• Familiarity with data centre critical support systems including UPS and air conditioning

Preferred skill

• Familiar with SAN storage technologies, in particular Network Appliance, EMC DMX.
• Familiar with latest database technologies e.g. Oracle, Sybase, MS SQL.
• Scripting skills e.g. ksh, Perl, VB.
